The club from Bauru won the title of Titan category with its U13 team, placing ahead of Sesi Vila Leopoldina Branco and ABDA Luso. In Tsu category, ABDA U11 won the gold medal ahead of Clube Internacional de Regatas and Polo FBDA Sudesb. The Fair Play trophy went to Passarinho Atividades Aquáticas of Recife. Luiz Matheus da Silva Galvão, an 8-year-old ABDA player, received the award as the youngest athlete of the event.
As always in HaBaWaBa events, children were involved in other activities outside the water: percussion lessons, badminton, capoeira and clinics on healthy nutrition. Coaches attended workshops with coaches André Avallone and Guerrinha. In addition, each team visited the Thermas De Piratininga waterpark. HaBaWaBa Brasil ended with the closing ceremony featured by ABDA Filarmonica, the Bauru club orchestra.
HaBaWaBa Brasil was attended by 25 teams belonging to 11 clubs coming from different places in Brazil. "We were looking for several foreign teams, but due to the pandemic it was not yet possible to count on their participation. For next year we hope to expand even more HaBaWaBa Brasil" Janaína Parra Grossi, one of the organizers of the event, stated. HaBaWaBa Brasil will return with all its joy and passion for waterpolo in 2022.
