The 1st edition of HaBaWaBa Asia is starting today at the prestigious OCBC Aquatic Center in Singapore: it’s the new event of the HaBaWaBa International Circuit, a project that stands alongside global events as HaBaWaBa International Festival and HaBaWaBa PLUS U13 and that aims to bring HaBaWaBa all over the world through various local events. Since 2015, 4 editions of HaBaWaBa North America took place in Montreal (Canada), 3 editions of HaBaWaBa Greece were played in Athens and last summer Barcelona hosted the 1st HaBaWaBa Spain.
Fourteen teams coming from 5 countries are participating in HaBaWaBa Asia, organized by HaBaWaBa Asia Pte Ltd in cooperation with Waterpolo Development: little players from China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore have come to Singapore to show their passion for HaBaWaBa and waterpolo.
As all of the HaBaWaBa event, HaBaWaBa Asia will also have educational activities dedicated not only to kids: the little athletes will join workshops about injury prevention and sports nutrition, while their parents will participate in a workshop about how supporting their children in sports. Also entertaining activities are scheduled for kids during the event.
