Everything’s ready in Tarragona, HaBaWaBa Spain is about to return. After the pause of 2020, the Sylvia Fontana Olympic Swimming Pool in the Catalan town will host the 3rd edition of the event, which will start tomorrow, Thursday July 22nd. More than 260 little players will participate in HaBaWaBa Spain, with such as 22 teams competing in the two categories, 16 teams in U12 and 6 in U10: numbers that really are surprising for the first HaBaWaBa event in Europe after the coronavirus pandemic.
Kids will play HaBaWaBa, participate in sporting and leisure activities organized by the technical partner Decathlon and join HaBaTalent, the night talent show where teams can dance, tell jokes and sing on the stage with music.
“We want the little ones to be able to finish a complicated and atypical season with a festival like HaBaWaBa, where fun, learning and a good atmosphere are guaranteed”, HaBaWaBa Spain general manager Cristina Marin said.
“Especially after COVID-19, it is very important to keep the young players motivated and excited with waterpolo - competition director Quim Colet stated -, and HaBaWaBa is the best event to achieve this. We’re very happy to continue with the third edition of HaBaWaBa Spain, and we hope that many more will follow!”.
