When is the next Festival?
From 13 to 20 June the week for U9 and U11, from 20 to 27 June the week for U13.
Do boys and girls play together?
U9 and U11 tournaments include girls’, boys’ and mixed teams. The U13 event is split into a girls-only tournament and one for boys-only or mixed teams.
How do you enter the Festival?
Open the page of the event for your team (U9-U11 or U13) and follow the Registration Guide: it contains the information, duties, costs and deadlines. A club can enter more than one team in a single tournament.
Where do teams stay during the Festival?
Teams, made up of players, coaches and officials, all stay inside Bella Italia & EFA Village. Parents, family and supporters travelling with the team can enter the village by paying admission.
What is the Champion’s Passport?
It is a code of ethics: the values of sport to respect in order to be part of the HaBaWaBa community.

Being coached by the best coach of all time, in a fabulous location, for a week of full waterpolo. That’s the opportunity that Waterpolo Development offers to boys and girls born in 2005 and 2006 with HaBaWaBa SuperCamp, an innovation that will start in the summer of 2021: a high quality camp directed by the waterpolo legend Ratko Rudic, the only coach who won 4 times the Olympics.Villaggio Itaca Nausicaa's beach and the sea of CalabriaDATES & VENUE. The 1st edition of HaBaWaBa SuperCamp will be held from 11th to 18th July at Villaggio Club Itaca Nausicaa in Fossa-Solfara Mare, a few kilometers from Rossano Calabro, in wonderful Calabria region, Italy. A prestigious venue that will allow kids to live an unforgettable experience, sharing intense training in the pool, cultural events, workshops and of course free time to spend on the beautiful beach or the facilities of the village. HaBaWaBa SuperCamp gives U16 and U15 waterpolo players the opportunity to improve their technical skills through a week of intense, focused work, quality and personalized teaching about individual technical and tactics elements, centered on this age category.
HaBaWaBa SuperCamp program includes two daily 90-minute training sessions (10 sessions overall): each participant will work in rotation format and under the leadership of expert international coaches, specialized in a specific position. Groups of centerbacks, centerforwards and perimeter players will be formed, while goalkeepers will train separately, participating in shooting drills of other groups on daily schedules. The target is to improve the technical skills of the participants.Ratko RudicSUPERVISOR RUDIC. A team of highly qualified international coaches will be directed by Ratko Rudic, the most successful coach of all time waterpolo: member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, as head coach Rudic won the Olympic gold medal with Yugoslavia (in '84 and '88), Italy ('92) and Croatia (2012). During his career he got 3 gold and 2 bronze medals at World Championships, 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals at European Championships, 2 gold and 3 silver medals in World Cup, one gold, one silver and 3 bronze medals in World League, one gold at Panamerican Games leading United States. As head coach of Brazil, he reached the historic qualification to quarterfinals of Rio 2016 Olympics, Seleçao's best ever outcome. In season 2018/19, he coached Pro Recco, winning the Italian League and Italian national cup. He has coached some of the greatest star in waterpolo, including Igor Milanovic, Aleksandar Sostar, Dudo Simenc, Carlo Silipo, Sandro Campagna, Stefano Tempesti, Sandro Sukno, Josip Pavic, Filip Filipovic, Aleksandar Ivovic.REGISTER NOW!
