HaBaWaBaSpain:thejoyfulreturnofthe“gameoftheballinthewater”
Waterpolo, fun, friendship: in Tarragona the 1st European HaBaWaBa event post-pandemic was a success. In a month HaBaWaBa Festival & PLUS will be in Lignano
Last week “the game of the ball in water” has exploded with all the joy, the fun and desire to be together of the little HaBaWaBa players in Tarragona: the Olympic pool Sylvia Fontana hosted the 3rd edition of HaBaWaBa Spain, the first HaBaWaBa event in Europe after the beginning of coronavirus pandemic.
As you can see in the images and video made by the organizers, who created the event in collaboration with Waterpolo Development, it was a huge success: more than 260 little players, belonging to 22 teams, competed in the U12 and U10 tournaments, reminding the entire world of aquatic sports of the magic and beauty of HaBaWaBa. Outside the water, kids were involved in activities organized by technical sponsor Decathlon and in HaBaTalent, the evening talent show. The event ended on Sunday with the win of Dos Hermanas in U12 category and Rubì in U10 category. However all the little athletes were winners, because they were finally able to return to participate in a HaBaWaBa competition. The HaBaWaBa summer will continue in a month with HaBaWaBa International Festival & HaBaWaBa PLUS, the two main events of HaBaWaBa world: both of them will take place at Bella Italia & EFA Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy), from August 29th to September 5th.
