HaBaWaBaBrasilreadyforrecord-breakingedition!
Fifty-seven teams have registered for the event scheduled for December 13-17: also the Ghanaian Black Star Polo will be in Bauru
The fantastic work done by Waterpolo Development’s partner ABDA in order to spread HaBaWaBa in South America keeps paying off. Proof is the number of participants in the 2023 edition of HaBaWaBa Brasil, the event of HaBaWaBa International Circuit organized by ABDA for the 4th consecutive year in Bauru, in the state of São Paulo: starting from December 13rd to 17th as many as 57 teams belonging to 19 different clubs will take part in HaBaWaBa Brasil, competing in the splendid ABDA Arena in the U10 and U13 age group tournaments.
HaBaWaBa Brasil will set a new participation record, however Waterpolo Development also rejoice in another news. Three nationalities will indeed be represented in Bauru: in addition to Brazilian and Chilean teams, also Black Star Polo will join the event. Black Star Polo is the Ghanaian team that last summer was prevented to take part in HaBaWaBa International Festival due to the denial of visas by the Italian Embassy in Ghana.
“It’s gratifying to see HaBaWaBa Brasil grow, year after year, but our greatest pride isn't in the numbers - ABDA founder Claudio Zopone stated -. It's knowing that we organized a championship for children, who will shape opinions, concepts in the future and be capable of rescuing the grandeur of human being. A festival where little athletes will learn to live with each other, regardless of their differences”.
