This year, one of the most significant initiatives of the organisation is the establishment of the Haba Silver U-11 and U-9 Tournaments that run alongside the HabaWaba International Festival and the Rock & Pop U-11 and U-9 event. The whole purpose of the initiative is to ensure that as many teams as possible, especially those who are participating for the first time or do not have the experience of their opponents, play the highest number of matches. The Haba Silver tournament is for those teams that were eliminated in the first phase (see the formula below). The Rock & Pop tournament is participated in by the teams ranked in fifth and sixth place at the end of the first phase of the U11 tournament and the teams finishing last in the group phase of the U-09 tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third teams of the Haba Waba International Festival, the winning teams of the Haba Silver U-11 and U-09 events and the winners of the Rock & Pop U-11 and U-09 Tournament. The timetable indicating times and locations of the games will be given to the teams upon their arrival in Lignano and to the Managers of the clubs at the Technical Meeting to be held on June 16th, 2013 at 21:30 in the auditorium located at the Olympic Swimming pool facilities.
