An ever bigger and more international tournament. The 2nd edition add to HaBaWaBa Plus U13 teams of new nationalities. There will be 28 squads taking part to the event organized by Waterpolo Development and dedicated to the 13 Under players, scheduled from June 20th to 25th at Villaggio Ge.Tur, in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy: 12 teams more than the first edition, that was held in January 2016. 22 teams out of 28 will be for the first time at HaBaWaBa Plus U13, 16 squads are coming from abroad.
Lignano Sabbiadoro will host teams from 8 nations and 2 different continents. Among of them, Turkey 13U National Team, Finnish Cetus Waterpolo Club (from the town of Espoo), Polish Gorzowski Klub (from Gorzow) and United Waterpolo Club USA. Hungarian teams could not miss HaBaWaBa Plus U13: we’ll have 6 of them, Debrecen, Eger, Ferencvaros, Hiros Sport, Szeged and Tatabanya. Five squads are coming from France: Marseille, Lille, Mulhouse, Olympic Nice and Pont de Claix Grenoble. Also Montenegrian waterpolo will be represented thanks to Primorac Kotor.
HaBaWaBa Plus U13 will host 12 Italian teams: Antares Latina, Aquatica Torino, Cabassi Carpi, Canottieri Arno Pisa, Aquatic Club Pescara, Latina, N.C. Monza, Pallanuoto Salerno, Plebiscito Padova, President Bologna, Quinto and Venere Azzurra.
The first edition of HaBaWaBa Plus U13, in January 2016, was won by the Catalan Club Nataciò Barcelona.
