Let’s start the countdown. Starting from November 16th you can register for 9th edition of HaBaWaBa International Festival, planned for June 2016, from 19th to 26th. The most important sports event dedicated to kids from 6 to 11 is ready to re-start mixing sports, fun and education to reinforce the love between little players and water polo.
The event created and organized by Waterpolo Development – and supported by CONI, FIN, FINA, LEN and COMEN – will be held again in Villaggio Ge.Tur in Lignano Sabbiadoro: a unique location that in 2015 edition hosted 1.300 little players coming from 13 countries and 4 different continents. However, numbers can’t describe the mood of HaBaWaBa International Festival, the only sports event that gives the kids the chance to live for a week in a real sports village, with other little players from all over the world, to share love for the “game of the ball in the water” and to have fun together. Also in 2016, HaBaWaBa International Festival will have two different tournaments, Under 11 (born from 2005) and Under 9 (born from 2007). Every club could register two teams for each category: U11 tournament has 96 teams, U9 24 teams. Registration will be open until January 31st, but entries will close early if the teams exceed the limited number expected.
