Starting from today, registration for 9th edition of HaBaWaBa International Festival (June 2016, 19th-26th) is officially open. First team to join the tournament is Club of Olympia, coming from Perm, russian city four thousand kilometers far away from the venue of the event, Villaggio Ge.Tur in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Club of Olympia will come back to HaBaWaBa International Festival after two years: Russians competed in 2014 with two teams, one in Under 11 tournament and other one in Under 9.
Also in 2016, HaBaWaBa International Festival – organized by Waterpolo Development and supported by CONI, FIN, FINA, LEN and COMEN – will have two different tournaments: Under 11 (kids born from 2005) and Under 9 (born from 2007). Every club could register two teams for each category: U11 tournament has 96 teams, U9 24 teams. Registration will be open until January 31st, but entries will close early if the teams exceed the limited number expected.
